Ravi Bishnoi's Early Life

Ravi Bishnoi was born and brought up in the village of Birami in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Due to the lack of cricket culture and facilities in western Rajasthan, he, his friends, and two coaches helped set up a cricket academy called Spartans Cricket Academy.

He was rejected once for the U-16 squad and twice for the U-19 squad before his coaches asked them to give him another chance and he was eventually called up to the Rajasthan U-19 squad. In March 2018, he was called up by the Rajasthan Royals as a net bowler.

Ravi Bishnoi's International Career

In December 2019, he was named to India's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. On 21 January 2020, Bishnoi took four wickets in India's match against Japan without conceding a run, finishing with four wickets for five runs in eight overs, with India winning by ten wickets, and was named Man of the Match. He finished the tournament as the leading wicket-taker.

In January 2022, Bishnoi was named in India's One Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) squads for the home series against the West Indies. On 16. In February 2022, he made his T20I debut for India against the West Indies cricket team, taking two wickets for 17 runs and being named Player of the Match.

In October 2022, he was named to India's ODI squad for the series against South Africa. He made his ODI debut on 6 October 2022 against South Africa.

Ravi Bishnoi's IPL Career

In December 2019, he was bought in the 2020 IPL auction by Kings XI Punjab ahead of the Indian Premier League 2020. 

Bishnoi made his debut in IPL against Delhi Capitals on September 20, 2020, and took his first wicket against Rishabh Pant, scoring 1/22 in four overs. 

In February 2022, Bishnoi was signed by the new franchise Lucknow Super Giants ahead of the Indian Premier League 2022 tournament.

• He played for India in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2020 and was the tournament's highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets.
• In IPL 2020, he finished the season with 12 wickets and was nominated for the Emerging Player Award.
