Kagiso Rabada was born to Mpho Rabada and Florence on May 25, 1995, in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. His father is a brain surgeon and his mother is a lawyer. He won a sports scholarship at St Stithians Boys’ College and graduated in 2013.

Kagiso Rabada began his IPL journey in 2017 after being acquired by Delhi Daredevils for INR5 crore. He put in decent performances in 2017 but was ruled out of the 2018 edition due to a back injury.
