David Warner is an Australian international cricketer. He is one of the stormiest openers on the international circuit and has played for various T20 franchises around the world including Sydney Sixers in the 2019 Big Bash League.

David Warner was born on 27 October 1986 in Paddington, Sydney. His parents are Howard and Lorraine and he has an older sister named Kim. At the age of 5, he started playing cricket with the bat. He continued to bat left-handed despite being asked to switch by his coach at the age of 10. Her mother saw him play cricket for Randwick Boys High School, which David attended after Matraville Public School.

David Warner is a regular player of the Australian national team. He made his international debut without playing any first-class matches, which makes him the only player to do so since 1877. In January 2009, he made his T20 debut against South Africa in Melbourne and then made his ODI (One Day International) debut against South Africa in Hobart the same week. David Warner's IPL Career
David Warner played a total of 65 matches for Delhi Daredevils, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore. He averaged 59.1 in his 8 innings during the 2008–2009 season with a strike rate of 141 and was the captain until 2018, he stepped down from the captaincy when the BCCI did not allow him to participate due to a ball-tampering controversy in south africa. But the next year again he returned as captain.
With a career spanning 150 matches, he has scored 5449 runs at an average of 41.6 and a strike rate of 140. There was a fierce bidding war between Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, and the player was bought by Delhi Capitals for INR6.25. With his debut for Deccan Chargers in 2010, he became fourth overseas player to cross the 500-run mark in the IPL. He won the Orange Cap twice during the 2015 and 2017 seasons respectively.
