Novak Djokovic gave another awe-inspiring performance to extend his winning streak on the grass court to 24. He quickly overwhelmed Miomir Kecmanovic on the centre-court, breaking the serve of his fellow Serb six times to secure his victory after one hour and 52 minutes of play.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion returned to court with a lightning first start. He used his trademark drop shots and clean strikes to grab the first set with a bagel. Miomir Kecmanovic discovered his rhythm in the second set and fended off a breakpoint to make it 1-1. Novak Djokovic continued to build pressure, but Miomir Kecmanovic saved two more breakpoints in the sixth game. However, his efforts were insufficient as Novak Djokovic stayed persistent and got a breakpoint to win the second set 6-3.

Novak Djokovic was entirely in tune with the game and raced to a 5-2 lead with several powerful strikes and two breakpoints. Miomir Kecmanovic did not give up and broke the serve of Novak Djokovic for the first time to narrow the deficit to 5-4, but it was too late to pull off a reversal as the 35-years-old clinched the match in the next game to secure a fourth-round spot.

In an on-court interview, Novak Djokovic said, "I think I have been playing better and better as the tournament progresses. That is something you always wish for as a player, that every match you play, you raise the level of tennis a notch at least, and I think that is happening at the moment.

Novak Djokovic will face Tim van Rijthoven of the Netherlands for a quarterfinal spot at Wimbledon on July 3.

John McEnroe raises Novak Djokovic's fear even if he wins Wimbledon - 'It's crazy

John McEnroe feels that even if Novak Djokovic wins at Wimbledon, he is at the risk of falling as low as World No. 40 on the Pepperstone ATP Live Rankings. The Serb is the top seed at the ongoing Wimbledon and one of the top contenders for this year's title. Still, the 2022 Wimbledon could potentially be his last Major for at least a year as he might not be able to compete at the US Open owing to his reluctance to get vaccinated.

John McEnroe said, "Then he looked like he had it together at the French but to me, having not played a slam match since the US Open, I think it caught up with him there [at Roland Garros]. Now he has that even more ramped-up pressure that I assume he's put on himself, especially if he can not play the US Open. He could win this and be ranked 40 in the world in a few months because he can't play anything in the States. It's crazy. It is unfortunate.
