    Top seed Novak Djokovic faced his Dutch opponent's multi-faceted forehand, and powerful serve to show his top-level caliber with his baseline play to give a brilliant response. When Tim van Rijthoven fended off four break points to clinch the second set, the Serbian great reestablished his dominance with a quick 5-0 lead in the third.

    Novak Djokovic secured an instant break in the fourth set to crush any hopes of a reversal for Tim van Rijthoven. He fired seven aces and won 75% of the points on both the first and second serve to secure his victory after two hours and 37 minutes of play.

    In a post-match interview, Novak Djokovic said, "I knew coming into the match that it was always going to be a tough, challenging matchup against Tim, who I've never faced before. I watched him play. He's got a good game for grass, which he proved today. It was a very good fight, especially in the first two sets.

    Novak Djokovic will lock horns with Jannik Sinner for a semifinal spot at Wimbledon on July 5.

    Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas were both fined over unsportsmanlike conduct

    Nick Kyrgios and Greek tennis star Stefanos Tsitsipas have been handed the most significant joint fine at Wimbledon for unsportsmanlike conduct. 

    The fine was given to Stefanos Tsitsipas for recklessly striking the ball into the crowd and Nick Kyrgios for hitting a powerful shot on the backboard. Both the players have been ordered to pay USD 10,000 each.

    The Australian has previously already been fined USD 4,000 fine for swearing at umpire Damien Dumusois during the match.

    Jamie Murray and Venus Williams out of mixed doubles

    Jamie Murray and Venus Williams have been knocked out of the mixed doubles event at Wimbledon after a 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(18-16) loss to British duo Jonny O'Mara and Alicia Barnett after an intense third-set tiebreak.
