Caroline Garcia swept past Ana Bogdan comfortably to win her career's ninth WTA tour-level title. It was also her second title in the last five weeks after winning the title at Bad Homburg Open in the last week of June.

In a post-match interview, Caroline Garcia said, "It was a tough match. Every final is always tricky. You know, you're at the last step and you want to make it happen, to hold the trophy in your hand."

Caroline Garcia started aggressively and raced to a 3-0 lead. Ana Bogdan roared back to get back, breaking the serve of her French opponent with an excellent forehand winner to serve at 5-4. However, Garcia clinched the opening set in the next with an explosive return.

The 28-year-old Frenchwoman continued with her strong performance in the second set. She broke the serve of her Romanian opponent at 3-1 and then won the final five games of the second set to secure her victory after one hour and 21 minutes of play.

Caroline Garcia served two aces, won 74% of the points on the first serve, and broke the serve of Ana Bogdan five times from seven opportunities compared to two aces, 46% of the points on the first serve, and two break points from five opportunities.

The victory improved the win-loss record of Caroline Garcia against Ana Bogdan to 2-0. She dropped to World No. 79 in May 2022 after reaching a career-high ranking of World No. 4 in September 2018 due to struggles with her form. However, she began her surge back to the top level five weeks ago at the Bad Homburg Open by winning her first title in three years.

Caroline Garcia then advanced to the semifinals at the Lausanne Ladies Open, Last-16 at Wimbledon and quarterfinals at the Palermo Open before winning the title at Warsaw.

Caroline Garcia has been giving excellent performances on clay in the runup to the final Grand Slam of the year. She can potentially emerge as one of the top contenders at the U.S Open, set to take place from August 29 to September 11.
