Tennis News: Ons Jabeur is teaming up with Serena Williams
World No. 3 Ons Jabeur of Tunisia has expressed her nervousness before teaming up with tennis legend Serena Williams in the doubles at Eastbourne International on June 21
Ons Jabeur is having the best season of her career. She became the first Arab/African woman to win a WTA 1000 title at Madrid Open in May. The 27-year-old Tunisian then won the second title of her career with a victory over Belinda Bencic in the Berlin Open final on June 19 to reach her career-high ranking of World No. 3.
Ons Jabeur will compete in the singles and doubles events at the 2022 Eastbourne International. She is seeded second in the singles event and will pair up with 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams of America in the doubles.
Serena Williams returns to court in the run-up to Wimbledon after spending a year on the sidelines.
After the official announcement, Ons Jabeur commented, "Excited, really lucky that she picked me. I'm pretty glad that I can share the court with her. I always watched Serena playing and always supported her. She's such a legend and such an example of our sport. I'm nervous about playing. I hope the match will be great and we'll have great games.

Jack Draper started aggressively and took an early lead with superb movement, which his American opponent failed to match. He was dominant throughout the first set and comfortably broke Jenson Brooksby to win it 6-2.
Jack Draper took advantage of Jenson Brooksby's weak service game to build on the momentum in the second set. The Brit played much better than his opponent and was able to read Brooksby's service every time with his super intuition. He easily won the second set 6-2 to secure a second-round spot with a straight-set victory.
Jack Draper will lock horns with Diego Schwartzman in the second round of Eastbourne International on June 22.
