    Roberto Bautista -Agut perfectly countered Daniil Medvedev's ability to overpower opponents with his solid play, flat strokes and big first service games. The Russian made unusual errors and failed to break Roberto Bautista -Agut despite constantly using drop shots and alternating his style of play. The Spaniard looked comfortable throughout the match and saved three of the six break points he faced to book a semifinal spot after one hour and 11 minutes of play.

    He added, "You need to be very confident that you can make it. Last week I was a bit far. Today, I was with a lot of confidence. I knew that if I played a good match, I would get my chances, and I got it."

    Roberto Bautista Agut will face Antoine Bellier of Switzerland in the semifinal on June 24.

The 28-year-old American won the second set, and the game was sent into the decider. However, Stefanos Tsitsipas showed immense persistence in the third set to hold for 1-0. He then gained a crucial break in the eighth game to win the match after two hours and 35 minutes of play.

    The victory improved his ATP Head to Head against Marcos Giron to 2-0 and increased the number of victories for the ongoing season to a Tour-leading 38 wins.
