Sri Lanka has responded in spectacular fashion, defeating UAE by 79 runs to keep their Super 12 dreams alive
They had a standout batsman in Pathum Nissanka, who stopped Karthik Meiyappan's hat-trick and led Lanka to 152/8. Dushmantha Chameera dominated the powerplay with three wickets. Wanindu Hasaranga took three wickets to complete the victory. Sri Lanka moves up to a third place with two points after the victory.
