T20 World Cup 2022: Scotland vs Ireland - Curtis Campher guides Ireland to a six-wicket victory
Curtis Campher scores a spectacular 72* off 32 balls in a 119-run partnership with Dockrell (39* off 27) to lead Ireland to a surprise victory
Curtis Campher(Player of the Match): "We had a clear game plan to try and take the game deep and I was lucky it was my day”.
"The way George and I approached it, we went hard in the middle. After the ninth or 10th over we got a bit of momentum and tried to maintain it for as long as we could”.
"I'm just happy to help the team. They are a great bunch of lads. We have gone up the gears in the last 12 months. So I'm happy it has come together now."

Captain’s Corner
Ireland captain: "It was pretty special. I can't remember an important partnership as that. All year we have played pretty good cricket. There's been times when we have been out of games and came out throwing punches and maybe just fell short. So to get over the line is great and was a pretty special knock from Curtis and George. Hopefully, we can take that into Friday."
Scotland captain: "I thought Michael Jones was superb today all the way through the innings. A couple of other guys chipped in as well so we were happy. We may have missed a few runs towards the back end but we knew if we bowled well we would give ourselves a chance. The boys up front were excellent getting those early wickets. But you have to give credit to Curtis Campher and George Dockrell. It was a brilliant partnership and an exceptional knock from Curtis, so credit to them”.
"We know from last year these groups are never straightforward so we will learn from today, reflect and come back strong in the last game."
