Virat Kohli : Player of the MatchIndia was 31 for 4, way behind in the 8-ball game. Then came the stand that gave India hope again. Pandya and Kohli batted beautifully. They took their time in the beginning, and did not panic even when the required run-rate rose to over 11, they kept playing their way and when the time came, the two stepped on the gas. It was the 12th over that shifted the momentum towards India, where they scored 20. From then on, India always managed to keep the required run rate intact. In the last three runs, only 50 were needed, and then it was Kohli's show. It was he who started finding the boundaries and they managed to get to 16 in the last over. Pandya was run out of the very first ball but Kohli stayed till the end and ensured that his team made it over the line.
