VIVO Pro Kabaddi League: Jaipur Pink Panthers defeat Patna Pirates to secure first win of the season
Jaipur Pink Panthers recorded a comfortable 35-30 victory over Patna Pirates in Match seven of the ninth season of the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League at the Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium in Bengaluru on October 9
Rohit Gulia helped Patna Pirates gain a 6-3 lead in the eighth minute of the first half with a few successful raids. However, Arjun Deshwal levelled the score at 7-7 for Jaipur Pink Panthers.
Patna Pirates launched an all-out raid, but Sachin Tanwar ensured that Jaipur Pink Panthers maintained a narrow 10-9 lead. The Panthers launched an all-out raid to gain a 12-11 lead, while defender Ankush held the Patna Pirates raiders at bay. The first half ended with a comfortable 18-14 lead for Jaipur Pink Panthers by the end of the first half.
Arjun Deshwal made a successful Super Raid in the 27th minute of the second half, reducing Patna Pirates to just one player on the mat. Soon after, Patna Pirates carried an All-Out to gain a 27-17 lead to take complete control of the match.
V Ajith was at the top of his form and helped Jaipur Pink Panthers move ahead. Sachin did a great raid in the 37th minute, but Patna Pirates failed to rack up consistent points. Patna Pirates raiders went on the defensive, allowing Jaipur Pink Panthers to claim a 35-30 victory.
Arjun Deshwal emerged as the best player for Jaipur Pink Panthers with 17 points, while Rohit Gulia picked up 17 points for Patna Pirates.
Jaipur Pink Panthers will lock horns with Haryana Steelers in their next VIVO Pro Kabaddi League clash on October 14.

Bengal Warriors registered a big 45-25 victory over Telugu Titans in the day's second Pro Kabaddi League clash.
