Pro Kabaddi League: The best raiders in the order of raid points at the end of the first leg
With the first leg of season nine of the Pro Kabaddi League ending, it is pertinent to note the players who played in the best in Bengaluru
In the 41 matches played among various teams at Shree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, here are the five best raiders in the order of the points scored by them.
#1 Naveen Kumar
Naveen Kumar, one of the star raiders of last year's champions, Dabang Delhi KC. He has the highest number of successful raids in the first leg of PKL nine: 76.
Naveen Kumar has played seven games so far, scoring 91 raid points and seven Super 10s.
Naveen Kumar has indeed lived up to his nickname, "Naveen Express".
#2 Rakesh Kumar
Rakesh Kumar from Gujarat Giants has the same number of raid points as Naveen Kumar, i.e. 91 but has fewer successful raids.
In the seven matches Rakesh Kumar, the Gujarat star raider, played, he had 71 successful raids and secured six super 10s.
Securing 91 raid points in the first leg of PKL 9, Rakesh Kumar remains in the top position along with Naveen Kumar.
#3 Benki Bharat
Benki Bharat has been the star raider for Bengaluru Bulls in the absence of Pawan Sehrawat, who moved to Tamil Thalaivas this season after spending several seasons in Bengaluru Bulls.
Benki Bharat has had 60 successful raids and four super 10s in the seven matches that he has played. He secured a total of 73 raid points which puts him in the third position in the list of top raiders after the first leg.
#4 Arjun Deshwal
Sitting in the fourth position so far is the star raider or Jaipur Pink Panthers, Arjun Deshwal.
With 63 successful raids and four Super 10s in seven matches played in the first leg, Arjun Deshwal secured 72 raid points, one less than Rakesh Kumar.
With the incredible performance of their lead raider Arjun Deshwal, Jaipur Pink Panthers currently sits in the second position in the point table.
#5 Aslam Inamdar
Another one of the most expensive players of this season, Aslam Inamdar, has shown a remarkable performance in the first leg for Puneri Paltan.
With 58 successful raids and three Super 10s, Aslam Inamdar has so far secured 70 raid points placing him in the fifth position in the list of best raiders.
