Pro Kabaddi League: PKL Unplugged, created by VIVO Pro Kabaddi League to engage fans
The Pro Kabaddi League, sponsored by VIVO, has started a new segment in this yearly tournament called the PKL Unplugged
The objective of this new segment is to allow the fans to bond more substantially with their favourite players by watching them close off the mat.
While fans only saw players on the mat so far and had no other way to feel more connected with their favourite players, with the launch of PKL Unplugged, the fans will see the players on the mat and off the mat.
To make the off-the-mat fun more interesting, the VIVO PKL has come up with several other segments, such as the Ultimate Panga Fan, Coach ki Soch, Mazedaar Panga, and Rapid Fire Raid.
"The hub of entertainment, stories, fun and action beyond the mat! Welcome to Kabaddi's new home - VIVO PKL Unplugged."
"Some of the best unheard and candid tales of your favourite stars only on #vivoPKLUnplugged soon." posted the official Instagram page of the Pro Kabaddi League.
To increase engagement with the fan of Pro Kabaddi League, the fans can follow them on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, or the hashtag #vivoPKLUnplugged.
"With the increasing ascriptive stature of PKL athletes, we realize that fans want to see and engage with their PKL heroes beyond the mat. That's why Vivo PKL Unplugged is a special initiative for us as this will give the fans a brilliant chance to get to know the persona behind the superstars they are. This is a new journey for us and we will keep looking to come up with out-of-the-box initiatives for our fans in the future," said Anupam Goswami, Head Sports Leagues, Mashal Sports and League Commissioner, Vivo Pro Kabaddi League.
Along with seeing the coaches talk about the player's performances, the teams, and the ways to improve, the fans will also see their favourite players taking up little trending challenges and rapid fires. This way, the fans will be entertained and get a chance to be more connected with the game than they already are.
