Pro Kabaddi League: Jaipur Pink Panthers beat Haryana Steelers to advance to the semi-finals
On Monday, Jaipur Pink Panthers celebrated a 44-30 victory over Haryana Steelers at Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad to secure their place in the semi-finals.
The Jaipur Pink Panthers started slowly in the contest and had more of the game than their opponents in the early stages, leading by two points after the first three minutes.
The Jaipur Pink Panthers managed to keep Meetu Sharma and Manjeet at bay, but Rakesh Narwal put the Haryana Steelers in front.
However, V Ajith Kumar's attack forced two Haryana Steelers players off the mat as Jaipur Pink Panthers kept their opponents at bay. Rakesh Narwal landed a three-point attack for the Haryana Steelers, but the Jaipur Pink Panthers held a slim advantage.
Though the Jaipur Pink Panthers held the lead for most of the first half, the Haryana Steelers kept fighting to stay in the game. At the break, the score was 21-15 in favour of the Jaipur Pink Panthers.
The start of the second half was sluggish and began with a few empty attacks. However, the Jaipur Pink Panthers soon got out of the blocks quicker than the Haryana Steelers and got the first points.
The Jaipur Pink Panthers continued to extend their lead and took control of the action by not giving the Haryana Steelers any space in the 29th minute; Lucky Sharma and Sahul Kumar made a fantastic tackle on Manjeet, and from then on, the Jaipur Pink Panthers took control of the Haryana Steelers game.
Meetu, Manjeet, and Rakesh struggled to execute their attacks as the Jaipur Pink Panthers extended their lead.
In the game's final minutes, Manjeet and Co. threw everything they had at the table, but the Jaipur Pink Panthers kept them at bay and left no hope of a comeback. In the end, the Jaipur Pink Panthers proved too strong and walked off the field with an emphatic victory.
