    As the players exhibited competence and remarkable sportsmanship, a few players etched history or dispensed incredible performances in crucial situations. We have listed all the players who attacked and scored the most do-or-die raid points in VIVO Pro Kabaddi League Season 8.

    Mohit Goyat (Puneri Paltan)

    Puneri Paltan's young talent Mohit Goyat faced raiding challenges in urgent situations that demanded his efforts, and he managed to score 49 do-or-die raid points in 21 matches for his team. He was the raider expected to seize points in a do-or-die situation. Despite the pressure that mounted on him, he lived up to everyone's expectations by showing tremendous game awareness, putting the opponent in a weaker position on most occasions. Puneri Paltan's coach Anup Kumar has gushed about him on many occasions and continues to harbour his talent. 

    Arun Deshwal (Jaipur Pink Panthers)

    Arjun Deshwal formed the lynchpin of Jaipur Pink Panthers' attack in Season 8 and played a crucial role in his side's valiant attempt to make it to the playoffs. Though the Panthers failed to nail the top six berth, Deshwal owned the mat in challenging situations and ended the league with 44 do-or-die raid points in 22 matches. Bought in the 2021 auctions at a whopping price of INR 96 lakhs, Deshwal did not disappoint and was impressed with his tactical acumen.

    AJjinkya Pawar (Tamil Thailaivas)

    Ajinkya Pawar has been instrumental in improving Tamil Thalaivas' attack in a season where they did not impress. He is a strong contender in his skills and technique, which rendered him a strong pillar of support for his team. He secured 42 do-or-die raid points in 18 matches by employing swift moves that proved detrimental to the defender's survival. His form kept his team afloat on some occasions before they ultimately finished at the second half of the table. The Thalaivas believed in him and gladly handed over the responsibility for scoring do-or-die moments, which often turned the game over.
