Pro Kabaddi League 9: Predicting players to score most raiding points this season
The ninth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League starts on October 7. The teams and their coaches are ready to give their 100% this season
The fans are equally excited, as this is after two years that they will be allowed to watch the PKL matches live.
Given how expensive some of the raiders have been this season, it is vital to note which player will make the maximum raiding points.
Here are a few raiders that we think will be giving a memorable performance this season:
Pawan Sehrawat
This one is self-explanatory. Pawan Sehrawat was the costliest player in this auction, making him the most expensive player ever in the Pro Kabaddi League.
He has been highly consistent for the last three seasons making over 300 raid points.
There are high hopes from Sehrawat this season, especially after he scored a 2.26 Crores bid from Tamil Thalaivas.
Naveen Kumar
Naveen Kumar is definitely in line to become the best raider this season.
He has been the most valuable player (MVP) for the last two seasons. Naveen made his debut in season 6 and soon made 680 raid points in the 62 matches he played.
Being one of the most critical players contributing to Dabang Delhi's maiden title last season, he has high hopes for this season.
Maninder Singh
Maninder Singh is another candidate who will make the most raiding points this season.
The captain of Bengal Warriors, Maninder Singh, has made over 200 raid points in the last four seasons.
In last season, PKL 8, Maninder was the third-highest raid point scorer of the season, with 262 raid points scored in 22 matches.
Given his consistency in the last few seasons and his successful performance, he ought to be one of the top raiders in season 9.
