Pro Kabaddi League 9: Dabang Delhi started preparations for season 9 in Panchkula
"We will give our 100%," said the team's head coach Krishan Kumar Hooda. The last season's winners, Dabang Delhi KC, have begun their preparations for the upcoming season in Panchkula
Their head coach Krishan Kumar Hooda told the press that the team is giving its 100% and will give its 100% in the season.
Dabang Delhi defeated Patna Pirates in the last season to become the champions, and their objective this season will also be the same.
Ahead of the PKL 9 auctions, they retained Vijay Malik and Naveen Kumar, two of the young raiders that the team had decided to invest their trust in for the upcoming season. After that, during the auctions held between August 5 and 6, the team also brought in other talented players like Sandeep Kumar Dhull, Ravi Kumar, Vishal and Amit Hooda.
After the auctions, in an interview with the franchise head coach, Mr Krishan Kumar Hooda said, "With the defending champions title, our aim for this year is to go out there and showcase the same physical and mental attitude that helped us win the title last year. I am confident that with this training camp, we will gear up and strengthen our skills and techniques."
Apart from being excited about the upcoming season and expressing how confident and excited the team is, the coach assured the fans that the team is ready to give its 100% and will not disappoint fans.
"I assure all Dabang Delhi fans that we will give our 100% and our new players will be ready to shine on the mat to give the best performances for season 9 of Pro Kabaddi League," he said.
Though there has been a significant alteration in the constitution of the team with many old and experienced players either retiring from the game or exiting the team and taking up the role of coaches for other groups and with the team acquiring many new players in the auction, the spirit and the confidence of the team remain the same.
After the Delhi franchise won the title the last season, it is evident that the fans must expect the same level of expertise in the ninth season. Their caliber in the upcoming season remains to be seen.
