The franchise confirmed the news through their social media handles. Now, here is a short recollection of all their performances in PKL Season 8:

    Maninder Singh

Maninder Singh is one of the most reliable raiders in the team, and he lived up to his reputation in Season 8 of the PKL. He played 22 matches last season and registered an impressive strike rate of 65%.

He earned 262 raid points, including 16 Super 10s and 11 Super Raids in PKL season 9. Maninder secured two tackle points throughout the season, and despite his remarkable run, the Warriors finished ninth on the points table and won nine out of 22 games.

    Manoj Gowda

Manoj Gowda finished season eight with a strike rate of 49%, while his tackle strike rate was 43%. He only played six matches out of which he secured 18 raid points, including one Super Raid.

He also scored three tackle points, including one Super Tackle. He is an all-rounder who usually has higher numbers in his record, as far as season eight is concerned, but Bengal Warriors are expected to have planned something in the upcoming edition.

    Akash Pikalmunde

Akash Pikalmunde couldn't impress in the previous edition. He earned 15 raid points in the seven matches he played, having skipped out on Super Raids and Super 10s.

He had an ordinary raid and tackle strike rate was 38% and 25%, respectively. It seems as if Bengal Warriors didn't think it through before retaining Akash Pikalmunde for the next season.

How did Bengal Warriors perform in Season 8?

Season 8 was disappointing for the team, and their fans as the Bengal Warriors could only secure nine victories out of 22 PKL matches. They lost ten games while the remaining three ended in a tie.

They would focus on assembling a better team during the auction in a bid to get their mojo back.
