Kabaddi World Cup 2016: Raiders and tacklers who guided India into the semifinals
The Raiders and Tacklers of India put up a fantastic all-around display of skills to lead their team's semifinal campaign in the Kabaddi World Cup.
After being defeated by the agile and quick-footed South Koreans in their opening match, the reigning champions didn't have the best start. But it regained the momentum with wins over Australia, Argentina, and Bangladesh; the Indian team restarted their campaign.
Team India has performed admirably overall, with captain Anup Kumar taking the lead. Anup Kumar, Pradeep Narwal, and Rahul Chaudhari, three prominent raiders, have been among the best in the competition's group rounds.
The raiders' ability to outwit the opposition's defence with their skill and speed demonstrates their exceptional athleticism. The raiders have been outstanding, scoring a tonne of points for the group. Manjeet Chillar, Surender Nadda, and Surjeet, three strong tacklers, appear to be part of a defence that works well together and has a great understanding of how to stop most opposition raids.
