Emerging Kabaddi players in the Pro Kabaddi League season 8
The Pro Kabaddi League, or any other Indian league, has played a crucial role in allowing young and raw talent to play in the senior squads
All seasons of PKL have introduced fresh faces who have shown incredible performances resulting in them gaining fame and money. Pawan Sehrawat, Siddharth Desai, Pardeep Narwal, and then Naveen Kumar are some of the players introduced in PKL as debutantes and soon secured a permanent position in the league.
The eighth season of PKL also saw many fresh faces who showcased tremendous potential in the game. There are players like Aslam Inamdar, Rinku and Jaideep who left no stone unturned to use their maiden season as an opportunity to paint a picture of their prowess in the game. Aslam Inamdar, who played for Puneri Paltan last season, became one of the significant players for his team. With some big names like Rahul Chaudhary and Nitin Tomar not being in their form, this new player with 207 raid points and 23 tackle points played a crucial role in making his team survive the season. Owing to his terrific start in the season, he is expected to return for season 9.
Mohit Goyal is another new raider that played for Puneri Paltan last season. Aslam and Mohit together made several raid points and held a significant position in the team throughout the season. Patna Pirates that played one of their best games this season had Mohammadreza Chiyaneh, a debutant, playing for them. This brilliant defender used every opportunity to showcase his skills to defend and is expected to be seen on the field again.
Jaideep, who played his debut season for Haryana Steelers last season, was the best defender for the team. Being one of the best defenders in the first season was a tremendous accomplishment for this prodigy. Though the team didn't perform well, his partnership with Surender Nada showed his talent and skill in the game. Last but not least, Rinku is another defender from U-Mumba that played incredibly in the previous season. While his team already had an experienced defender, Fazel Atrachali, Rinku did a fantastic job partnering with him. He is expected to perform even better next season. While all the players mentioned above showed great talent last season, it remains to be seen who will make it to the next season.
