Pro Kabaddi League: Pardeep Narwal crosses 1400 battle points mark; "Pardeep Narwal will cross 1500 battle points this season," predicts coach Jasveer Singh

Pardeep Narwal crossed the 1400 raid points mark in the last match and became the player with the most raid points in the history of the Pro Kabaddi League. 

Narwal's performance in the last season was average, and due to his increasing age, no one was expecting a great show of talent from him this season. 

In a surprise turn of events, while Pawan Sehrawat, the most expensive player of the season, has been out of the tournament because of injury, Pardeep Narwal left everyone stunned by his incredible performance and the return of his form. 

While he has already crossed the 1400 mark, his coach Jasveer believes Pardeep will easily cross 1500 raid points. Meanwhile, Pardeep is sure that he will cross 1600 this season. 

"1400 raid points is a massive achievement, but I think he will cross 1500 this season," Coach Jasveer said. (Pardeep interjects by saying, "This season, I will cross 1600, sir.”)

Pardeep Narwal started his PKL journey in season two when he made his debut with Bengaluru Bulls. Though his performance in season two remained average due to lack of exposure, he joined Patna Pirates in season three, post which his performance curve only went higher. 

Season five was Narwal's golden season when he scored 369 raid points for Patna Pirates and became one of the best raiders to play in the PKL. 

Pardeep Narwal became the most expensive player in season eight and went to UP Yoddhas. His average performance in season eight, with only 188 raid points, brought a sad gap in his career; however, he returned in season nine with a bang. 

It remains to be seen if Narwal will succeed in crossing the 1600 mark, as he claims, in the coming weeks of the ninth edition of the Pro Kabaddi League.
