New Zealand put Pakistan on the back foot in the first Test after Williamson scored an unbeaten marathon double hundred on day four.

Williamson's 200 not out in nearly 10 hours gave New Zealand a 174-run lead as the visitors reached 9-612 at tea, with Ish Sodhi scoring a career-best 65.
New Zealand spinners Michael Bracewell and Sodhi strucke early in the final session to take Pakistan to 2-77 at the close of play. Pakistan still trailed by 97 runs on a pitch that provided some encouragement to the spinners from the bowlers' footsteps.
Imam-ul-Haq finished the session with an undefeated 45, and nightwatchman Nauman Ali managed to be not out on four despite being surrounded by fielders in the last over.
Abrar concluded with 5-205 after taking 17 wickets in two Tests against England earlier this month.
Williamson fully capitalised on two stumping chances at the start of his innings and twice successfully overturned lbw decisions against him on the field through television coverage, while Pakistan regretted the missed chances.
