Legends League Cricket 2022: These players show how much cricket they still have left in them

• Kevin O’Brien (Gujarat Giants)- The Irish batter has been a critical part in bringing Ireland to a rise in cricket. Apart from being a belligerent batter, he is a canny medium-paced bowler.

• Solomon Farai Mire (India Capitals)- Rightly known for his big-hitting skills since his debut in international cricket, he came to national honours owing to his club cricket performances. 

With a bit of international exposure of mere 58 games, the 33-year-old, in three innings played so far, has scored 132 runs at an average of 44 and a phenomenal strike rate of 183.33. He has smashed 14 boundaries and eight sixes, displaying his power-hitting capabilities and is second in the list of leading run-scorers.

• Pravin Tambe (India Capitals)- The 50-year-old leg break bowler who never played a top-level game for a first-class side toiled several years as a club cricketer. However, in very late years, he got to represent Gujarat Lions, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Rajasthan Royals in the IPL.

The bowler tops the tally of highest wicket-takers, scalping seven wickets from three matches at an economy of 7.02. His best figure of 3/28 in the Legends League came against Gujarat Giants.

• Yusuf Pathan (Bhilwara Kings)- One of the most hard-hitting batter and off-spinner, coming to rescue for India in shortest formats has shown in the Legends League how much cricket is left in him. He has given many match-winning performances as an all-rounder for India, IPL franchises, and Ranji Trophy. Ranking third in the wicket-taking tally of the league, he has scalped five wickets from two innings. He has been impressive, with his bowling strike rate being 9.6 and an economy of 6.62.
