    Shreyas Iyer

This 27-year-old Indian batsman has played a total of 87 IPL matches across the seasons and has scored 2375 runs already. Playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders this season, this prodigy is expected to show some unexpected moves this season. Along with having a calm attitude and his incredible prowess, he will be playing on his home ground giving him an advantage over other players.

Shreyas Iyer is a remarkable international batsman and has played 4 tests 26 ODI and 36 T20 for the international cricket team of India. It remains to be seen whether he makes KKR and its fans proud or not.

    Virat Kohli

Like always, Virat Kohli is also in line to show some remarkable moves and performances this season. Virat Kohli is one of the players who have been playing since the very first edition of IPL and still continue to give striking performances each season. This will be the first-ever IPL where Virat Kohli will not be in the role of captaincy. That may be a little disheartening for the star, however, it may also help him play more freely as he would no longer have the burden of leading the team on his shoulders. One of the all-time top scorers of IPL has played 207 matches in which he has scored a total of 6283 runs.

    Shikhar Dhawan

Having been picked by Punjab Kings for 8.25 crores this season, Shikhar Dhawan must be super enthusiastic to justify that price. He has scored 5784 runs in the IPL and is only second in line after Kohli. The Gabbar requires only 216 more runs to touch the 6,000 mark. This left-handed opener has scored more than 400 runs in every single one of the IPL seasons that he has played. Being only a few runs behind Kohli, this remarkable batter may want to break the records this season.

    KL Rahul

By scoring the second-highest average of 62.60 in the IPL tournament of 2021, this striking batsman has raised the expectations of the fans by multiple degrees. This right-handed batsman scored six 50s and one unbeaten 98 in the last season. He made a total of 626 runs while playing for Punjab kings in the last edition. This year he is not only going to play for Lucknow Super Giants but is also going to lead the team.

    Ravindra Jadeja

Having earned the top spot in the last season's IPL tournament for the highest average in a season, Ravindra Jadeja has been retained by Chennai Super Kings in this season as well. This left-handed batsman made an average of 75.66 while playing in 12 innings and scoring 227 runs. This incredible batter remained not out in 9 out of 12 innings that contributing to his highest average in the season.
