The tourists took advantage of a spinning surface in the morning session, winning by 281 runs at the close of day two in Multan.
Leach finished with four wickets for 98 runs as the hosts, who had started the day on 107 for two, fell to 202 all out after losing eight wickets for just 60 runs.
Leach's 100th Test kill occurred as Saud Shakeel was approaching his half-century, making the spinner the 49th English cricketer to reach the milestone.
