He overcame a 17-year record held by renowned all-arounder and former England captain Paul Collingwood to claim the top spot. At Trent Bridge on June 21, 2005, the 46-year-old Collingwood, who is now England's assistant coach, struck out six hitters from Bangladesh for 31 runs in 10 overs.
