Premier League Transfer news: Spurs target Gabriel Jesus, £80m for Man United pair, AS Monaco losses a midfielder

Before the advent of the summer transfer, Tottenham Hotspur is now in a better spot to compete with Arsenal for Gabriel Jesus. The Spurs defeated their rivals and earned a place in the next season's Champions League

It could be beneficial for the club if Jesus plays up front alone, in a partnership with Harry Kane or as a wide forward. However, the Brazilian is reportedly being hounded by six other clubs. His agent has been in contact with the Gunners as interim boss Mikel Arteta has worked with the player during his spell at Manchester City.

However, Tottenham qualifying for the Champions League football could potentially turn the tables. Antonio Conte is determined to sack Jesus with a lucrative offer on the cards. He wants to buy a forward and a centre-back, and a midfielder. On the last day of the English Premier League, the Spurs defeated Norwich City 5-0 to book a spot in the Champions League as they edged past Arsenal and grabbed the fourth position.

Manchester United ready to offload £80million pair

When Erik ten Hag took over the club as the new manager after replacing Ralf Rangnick, he immediately got down to work. He carved a new vision for the club that now has to offload players that are not in it. Reports suggest that neither Eric Bailly nor Aaron Wan-Bissaka is part of his plans. The news could directly link to the story that the poisonous teammate who attacked Harry Maguire has been identified, although it hasn't been confirmed.

The club is aware of the difficulty of finding a buyer for Wan-Bissaka, so they will not derive any profit from a possible sale. The club had initially bought him for £50million in the summer of 2019 from Crystal Palace. Roma's interim boss Jose Mourinho seems interested in bringing Wan-Bissaka to Roma so that he might undergo a loan transfer.

Monaco midfielder ready to join Real Madrid

Reports on Sunday stated that Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni had given his word to Real Madrid and Liverpool, but he is expected to decide soon. It turns out that the French international has made his choice among the Champions League finalists. According to reports, club sources have claimed that the player's representatives notified the Reds about his decision to join the La Liga champions later this summer. Madrid is observed to need better midfielders, which could be a good chance for Tchouameni to increase his game time.
