Football Transfer News: Sade Mane and  Romelu Lukaku's on exit mode

Chelsea might finally land Raheem Sterling, and Liverpool has initiated a transfer bid for Jude Bellingham in response to Sadio Mane's proposed exit. The Reds have signed Darwin Nunez, and Bayern Munich is expected to come back with a third bid for the Senegal international shortly. Meanwhile, Manchester United's summer rebuild includes a deal with Barcelona for Frenkie de Jong and an offer to hire free agent Christian Eriksen amid competition from Tottenham and Brentford. Carson is to be retained at Manchester City

Scott Carson has agreed to a new one-year contract at Manchester City.

He said he is delighted to have stayed back with City for another season. He is looking forward to working with Pep Guardiola, the coaches and his talented teammates, calling it an honour to play with them. He admits he already learned and gained a lot in his time there and hopes to push Club's other goalkeepers to be the best they can be."

Manchester City transfer round-up as they rebuild the squad

Premier League champions Manchester City had addressed their striker shortage by signing two forwards - Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund and Julian Alvarez from River Plate. Now, they want to boost their midfield options. Barcelona's Frenkie de Jong and Leeds man Kalvin Phillips are two names on their list. Pep wants to sign them before the squad returns for pre-season training next month. 

Cardiff brings in a defender

Cardiff signed right-back Vontae Daley-Campbell, who was a free agent after leaving Leicester at the end of last season. He has agreed to a three-year deal in the Welsh capital. Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest is targetting Dean Henderson, who made just three club appearances last season as the Manchester United goalkeeper. Chelsea has allowed Romelu Lukaku to rejoin Inter Milan on loan. The 28-year-old has only scored eight Premier League goals after he left Inter for the Blues last summer.

Everton target Rodrigo Becao

Everton is thinking of signing Udinese defender Rodrigo Becão. They were in danger of being relegated last season, and now Frank Lampard has taken up the responsibility to strengthen his squad. Despite the looming uncertainty with four parties voicing their interest in buying the Club, they are not shying away from making any move. 26-year-old Becao was a crucial player in the Udinese starting line-up last season, appearing in 35 Serie A games. Although negotiations have not started, Everton is sure of bringing in the centre-back, worth around € 20 million (£17.4million) and is under contract until June 2024.
