Thiago Silva has encouraged Paulo Dybala to join Chelsea.

Thiago Silva has confirmed that he approached Paulo Dybala about the possibility of joining Chelsea, following reports linking the forward with a move to Stamford Bridge. </p>

Recent rumors in the Italian press have suggested that Dybala, a World Cup winner from Argentina, could be heading to Chelsea this summer. </p>
<p>
It has been reported that the player has a €12m release clause in his contract with his current club, AS Roma. </p>
<p>
While attending a Formula 1 race at Silverstone, Thiago Silva, the captain of Chelsea, spoke to Sky Sport Italia and acknowledged that he asked Dybala about a potential move. </p>
<p>
"I saw Paulo Dybala here, they [the media] talk about him coming to Chelsea. I've talked with him and asked him if he is coming. </p>
<p>
"He is a world class player. I would love to play with him and it would be a massive signing. Let's see." </p>
<p>
Dybala joined Roma last season after his contract with Juventus expired, but he has been plagued by injuries since the transfer. Throughout the 2022/23 season, the forward missed 18 games due to various ailments. </p>

However, he still managed to score 18 goals and provide seven assists in all competitions for Jose Mourinho's team, including a goal in the UEFA Europa League final despite not being fully fit. </p>
