In a candid conversation with Diario AS, the 35-year-old Lewandowski acknowledged this shift, describing it as a transition from being a "machine" to becoming "more human".
He reflected on his record-breaking 41-goal season at Bayern, surpassing Gerd Muller's Bundesliga record. Lewandowski revealed, "Breaking records is no longer my main goal. The most important thing is to help my team win and enjoy the matches. Don't get me wrong: I still want to succeed and score goals, but I'm not as tenacious as I used to be."
Moreover, Lewandowski expressed a strong commitment to remaining with Barcelona, dispelling rumours of a move to Saudi Arabia or the MLS. He stated, "I don't even think about it (going to Saudi). I'm super happy in Barcelona, in the team, in the city, with my family. As a person, I am happy. After the Barcelona chapter, it's hard to imagine going there."
While Lewandowski had a challenging start to his La Liga campaign, he has rebounded with goals in his last two domestic matches.
Barcelona are counting on their star striker to maintain this form as they prepare to face Real Betis at Montjuic on Saturday.
