Three teams are fighting to stay in the Premier League amidst the battle of relegation. Everton, Leeds United, and Burnley are battling for their top-flight status in the last weeks of this season.

Norwich City was the first to be relegated, just one season after being promoted. Watford is expected to follow them, with a hundred per cent chance of being relegated.

The Championship's third trap door will see Burnley, Everton, or Leeds United face the drop.

At the weekend, the Premier League relegation battle saw another twist. Burnley and Everton won, bringing Leeds United back in the mix to avoid the drop from the top flight.

Lately, Burnley has been on a roll, winning three consecutive games to move out of the relegation zone. And now Leeds United are the favourites to fall into the relegation zone.

Leeds United lost at Elland Road to Manchester City on Saturday evening, making matters worse. They had been able to win three games out of four in recent weeks and appeared to be out of danger. The win over Chelsea has cut Everton's chances of relegation significantly, and they also have a game in hand.

Who is next to be relegated- Burnley, Everton, or Leeds?

Burnley seems to have escaped the relegation zone after three consecutive wins under Mike Jackson. Burnley's 2-1 victory over Watford on Saturday has relegated the Hornets, but it could also prove crucial to avoiding relegation at the end of the season.

Burnley's previous struggles away from home meant that they would have approached their final four fixtures with concern about the trips to Spurs or Villa. But Saturday's victory will have given them the confidence needed to win consecutive wins.

Burnley has had the good fortune at this stage and appears to be showing a lot of confidence. They can undoubtedly earn six more points in their last four games and reach the 40-point mark. Hence, it looks like Burnley will survive this time.

Even to say that Everton's 1-0 victory over Chelsea on Sunday was anything less than monumental.

Everton is the only side of the three, with five fixtures remaining. However, it is not sure that they will win three points in that match to move above Burnley or Leeds.

The Toffees' superior goal difference against Leeds United is another positive. They will be aiming for maximum points from their trip to struggling Watford and successive home games against Brentford and Crystal Palace in five days.

Hence, Everton is also looking good and might not end up in the last three.

In particular, Leeds United had a poor weekend as Everton and Burnley both improved their survival chances with victories over Chelsea and Watford, respectively.

Although not yet in the relegation zone at the moment, Leeds United looks to be in the most danger of all three clubs.

The Yorkshire side is also at risk of losing their survival chances due to a lower goal difference than Everton and Burnley. This effectively acts as a one-point deduction from their current total compared to their fellow strugglers.
