RB Leipzig confirm forward Christopher Nkunku expected to join Chelsea
RB Leipzig boss Max Eberl has confirmed that forward Christopher Nkunku is expected to join Chelsea at the end of the Bundesliga season.
When questioned about Nkunku's links to Chelsea by Bild TV, Eberl said: "The signs are very, very clear that he's moving to Chelsea."
In 2019, Nkunku moved to Germany from Paris Saint-Germain and since then has become one of the best attackers in Europe.
Chelsea have been keen on acquiring the 25-year-old French international for some time with a deal reportedly having been agreed as far back as October.
Since joining Leipzig, Nkunku has scored 64 goals with a further 51 assists in 159 appearances.
Eberl was then asked about reports linking Konrad Laimer to Bayern Munich and Dani Olmo heading to Spain, he replied:
"I'll fight for both of them until it's really decided. But as long as there's a one percent chance, I'll do anything to keep the two guys."
