Premier League: Results and scores - Heung-min Son's comeback hat-trick
Tottenham Hotspur sealed a glorious 6-2 victory over Brendan Rodgers' Leicester City as substitute Heung-min Son scored a 14-minute hat-trick that ended his dry spell.
Son was benched due to his inability to score as the season started, but he seemed to have regained his brilliant form as he threw in two trademark long-range strikes before slipping his third goal past Danny Ward.
First-half headers from Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Rodrigo Bentancur provided them with a lead and a boost against Youri Tielemans' sixth-minute penalty alongside James Maddison's brilliant 41st-minute goal.
The Spurs led 3-2 into the second half, and their lead was further stretched by Heung-min's glorious treble as Tottenham now rests in third place in league rankings.
They have extended their unbeaten start to seven games and crossed rivals Arsenal up to second in the table, tied in points with toppers Manchester City.
Conte shared his thoughts after his side's victory, "To have a player of this level on the bench means in one moment I can change the game," Conte said. "If you want to play massive games in the Premier League and Champions League, they have to start to understand rotation is very important," he added.
Leicester has lost six consecutive matches this season, and the Foxes are now stagnating at the bottom of the table with one point in seven games as Brendan Rodgers finds himself under immense pressure.
Manchester City continued their unbeaten streak moving into their seventh game in the Premier League as they beat Wolves 3-0. The Citizens have not lost a single match in their last 22 away Premier League games.
The club record was set up despite things getting shaky for City in the second half. Jack Grealish brought the lead in the first minute, and Erling Haaland scored his 11th Premier League goal of the season in the 16th minute.
Phil Foden then converted in the second half, and the win pushed City to the top of the table with 17 points from seven games, while Wolves are ranked 16th with only a single win this season.
They were left with ten men by the 33rd minute as defender Nathan Collins' aggressive contact against Grealish earned the former a straight red card.
However, the opening goal was Grealish's first this season, which could be a relief as the former Aston Villa player couldn't score goals or provide assists after his 100 million pound transfer last year.
He reflected on his performance, "It was nice to get off the mark this season and get the three points at a difficult place to come against a top team."
He admitted that he should be scoring goals and bringing in more assists. However, he revealed that he couldn't score as much even at Aston Villa and wanted to overcome the challenge.
Grealish hung on to Kevin De Bruyne's brilliant cross into the six-yard box before Haaland netted his 14th goal across all competitions from the edge of the box.
The Norwegian striker is now the first player in Premier League history to score in his first four away games. De Bruyne's assist morphed into another stunning low cross into the six-yard box, which Foden converted.
