Manchester United ready to replace Harry Maguire with Serie A champion - report
The clock is ticking on Harry Maguire's future at Old Trafford as the Red Devils set sights on his replacement.

Manchester United are considering a summer transfer bid for Napoli defender Kim Min-jae according to latest reports.

With Harry Maguire potentially on his way out of Old Trafford at the end of the season, manager Erik ten Hag is on the lookout for alternatives.

The Red Devils have largely relied on Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane this season, with Maguire going on to make just 14 Premier League appearances.

According to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport, United will be looking to add Napoli's Min-jae to their defensive arsenal this summer.

The South Korea international arrived at the Serie A club from Fenerbahce last July for just over £15million.
The 26-year-old was brought in as a replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly and he certainly lived up to the hype as he helped Gli Azzurri to their first league crown since 1990.
Min-jae made 32 Serie A appearances this season and 42 across all competitions. He has also contributed with two goals.
Manchester United are reportedly planning to splash over £50million on the defender. However, their decision to pursue the player will also rest on whether they are able to offload Maguire at the end of the season.

The England international has endured another poor campaign, with Ten Hag going as far as replacing Maguire with left-back Luke Shaw in central defence in recent outings.

Maguire did not feature last Sunday as Man United fell to a 1-0 defeat away against West Ham. The result leaves the club just one point ahead of Liverpool in the race for the top four.
