Julian Nagelsmann in no rush to take Tottenham Hotspur job after Bayern Munich axing
After his shock sacking as Bayern Munich manager last Friday, Julian Nagelsmann is reportedly wanting to take his time with any decisions about his future.

<p>Despite his availability, Tottenham Hotspur may have to wait until the summer to begin talks with Nagelsmann about him potentially becoming their new manager following Antonio Conte's recent sacking.</p>
<p>Spurs would ideally like to bring him in sooner, but both parties would be comfortable with a summer start, given that Conte's former assistant Cristian Stellini has taken the reins in their last 10 games.</p>
<p>Nagelsmann's shock exit from Bayern has made him one of the most sought-after managers in Europe, with plenty of interest from the likes of Real Madrid and Chelsea.</p>
<p>While Real could be a good fit for Nagelsmann, given that they are already set up for instant success, he also has admirers at Chelsea, and would interest them if they decided to replace Graham Potter.</p>
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy wants to weigh up his options before turning his attention to other candidates to replace Conte, who left the club on Sunday night.
Spurs reportedly have a list of alternative candidates with Luis Enrique, Roberto De Zerbi, Marco Silva, Steve Cooper, Thomas Frank, Sergio Conceicao, Oliver Glasner and Ange Postecoglou among the names in the frame. While Mauricio Pochettino's return would be welcomed by some fans, his appointment is rated as doubtful.
In the meantime, Stellini and Ryan Mason have been placed in temporary charge at Tottenham, and their caretaker reign has already been dealt its first blow as it emerged that right wing-back Emerson Royal needs surgery after damaging his knee playing for Brazil.
Despite his sacking, Nagelsmann remains one of the most exciting young managers in the game, and his next move will be watched with great interest. For now, however, he seems content to take his time and make the right decision for his future.
