Hoffenheim goalkeeping coach Michael Rechner reunites with Julian Nagelsmann at Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich have snapped up Bundesliga rivals Hoffenheim's impressive goalkeeping coach Michael Rechner.
The 42-year-old coach has been with Hoffenheim since 2008 and will now reunite with manager Julian Nagelsmann.
Rechner worked with Nagelsmann between 2013 and 2019, before the latter moved on to RB Leipzig and then Die Roten.
"Michael's move to Munich marks the end of nothing less than an era here," said Hoffenheim director of football Alexander Rosen.
"Michael has been a constant at our club for over a decade and a half. He shaped generations of goalkeepers through his work in U19, U23 and the professional team.
"His expertise, creativity and dedication made him one of the most renowned experts in his field. He is a 'better-maker'."
