Football News: Manchester United eyeing three strikers
Manchester United seem to have an affinity towards budget Austrian strikers. Over the weekend, the Red Devils placed an offer roughly worth £7.5million for Marko Arnautovic
However, Bologna turned down the bid, telling United to make more efforts for the 33-year-old. So now, it makes sense for them to target Sasa Kalajdzic instead.
Reports state that United, Chelsea and Everton are all eager to sign the tell centre-forward, which might have an asking price of £ 15 million. Bayern Munich has also been discussing Kalajdzic, who netted six times in 13 Bundesliga games last season.
Arsenal might tackle Man Utd to make their next purchase
Cody Gakpo, as the report suggests, be a possible United target, although three other Premier League clubs are also closing in around PSV Eindhoven forward.
The news states that Arsenal have preserved their long-drawn interest in the reigning Eredivisie Player of the Season, and besides them, Leeds and Nottingham Forest are interested too.
The player could be bought for £ 30 million, which makes us think as to why
no one has snapped the 23-year-old up yet.
Manchester United's bid for Sesko is not over yet
Manchester United reportedly works on a deal with RB Salzburg for Benjamin Sesko. The teenager's agents consulted with John Murtough more than a week before.
Shortly after, they had a sit-down with Chelsea owner Todd Boehly. Salzburg, however, is not keen on accepting offers. Some reports suggest that the Austrians have assigned a price tag on Sesko that varies between £45million and £55million.
Other reports firmly state that they don't want to do any deal until next summer at the earliest possible. However, that has not deterred the Red Devils'' from their preferred path.
This means that the Red Devils will continue their attempts to convince Salzburg, and it seems like a bid of £ 10 million might be in order.
Forest might spend £50M on the duo
Nottingham Forest might have lost to Everton in their bid to land Idrissa Gueye. Still, the Premier League newcomers are reported to be moving closer to a record deal for another target.
Forest seems to be wanting to hold discussions with Wolves'' to enquire about the asking price for Morgan Gibbs-White. Meanwhile, Wolves turned down Forest'sForest's offer of £35million last week.
However, Nottingham will not rest until a deal is made, and they expect to complete a deal this week. Before that, Forest is slated to sign Alex Moreno, and a £ 9 million contract has been approved for the left-sided wing-back.
