With the contracts of many big players ending this season, some of the most prominent players in European football will be available as free agents this summer
With many big players looking for new employers this season, it is bound to spur on gossip about which player is likely to end up.
Paul Pogba, who has served Manchester United for about six months, will finally be leaving the club this season because of his underwhelming performance and the expiration of his contract with the club. Similarly, Gareth Bale of Real Madrid will also be a free agent as his agreement with Madrid is also ending this season. Bale has spent over nine years in the Spanish club. He joined Madrid in 2013 at a record-breaking price of 80m. After winning many vital trophies for the club in the past nine years, Bale has finally decided to play somewhere else.
Bale confessed to the press that his two main priorities this season will be his family and the world cup, and he will choose his next club accordingly.
Luis Suarez, currently playing for Atletico Madrid, will also be a free agent very soon. He has made an offer to Juventus for the next season. When he left Barcelona 2 years ago, he wanted to join Juventus; however, destiny had Atletico in store for him. Now that his agreement with Atletico is ending this season, he is again aiming to make a place for himself in Juventus. One of the emerging options for Suarez is also River Plate. Its president George Brito confirmed that they had made an offer to Suarez, and now it only depends on what Suarez decides. Though he has confirmed his exit from Atletico, he is still not ready to exit European football yet.
On the other hand, Juventus is reportedly aiming for Angel di Maria, who will also be a free agent by the end of this month. Currently, he is playing for PSG, and his contract is expiring this season. Reports claim that in case di Maria fails to join Juventus, the club is likely to go for Suarez next season.
