Football Transfer News: Bayern Munich star desires Chelsea switch as Manchester United get awful news
As the Blues continue their hunt for more strikers and defenders, a new player on the Premier League block is willing to join Stamford. The man in question is Benjamin Pavard, who wants to be a part of the Blue
Benjamin Pavard wants to move to Chelsea
Chelsea is currently eyeing Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard after being outdone by Barcelona multiple times in the summer transfer.
There are now talks of the Blues being interested in the France star, and in the wake of missing out on Jules Kounde and other valuable players, Thomas Tuchel seems to be targeting the 26-year-old.
Pavard has played as a right-back for the most part, but his preferences have changed as he wants to be positioned as a centre-back, and Chelsea needs one.
Interestingly, their interest in Pavard is most appreciated as the player would be looking forward to working with Tuchel at Stamford Bridge if Chelsea places an offer.
However, Bayern might not be willing to let him go, at least not before the upcoming season ends while new signing Noussair Mazraoui familiarises himself with the Bundesliga.
Actual might take away a Blues striker
While Chelsea attempt to recruit defenders, Tuchel might be offloading forwards. It seems as if Real Madrid is approaching the Blues over the status of Armando Broja, who was out on loan last season at Southampton.
Chelsea was willing to offer the Albania striker at the start of the summer, but Tuchel is reportedly working on new strategies with Broja in them.
His stance remains solid despite raging interest from Real Madrid, Everton, Newcastle and 'several' clubs in Italy. Meanwhile, Timo Werner might leave the club as the Germany striker has reportedly accepted a 50 per cent pay cut to return to RB Leipzig.
United might not be successful in their deal involving Sesko
There have been rumours and talks regarding Manchester United's interest in Benjamin Sesko. It seems as if the Red Devils have met with the RB Salzburg striker's agent to initiate a transfer to Old Trafford.
Manchester United chief John Murtough reportedly met with Elvis Basanovic, the 19-year-old's representative, on Wednesday, implying an exchange regarding a deal.
However, it will not be easy to get Salzburg on board because they want at least £55million for the teenager, but it seems like the suggested amount is way more than United would agree to pay,
