Football Transfer News: Juventus bid for Liverpool's Roberto Firminho
Juventus have offered Roberto Firmino, and Liverpool seems interested in taking it
The Bianconeri are looking for a new forward before the upcoming season after Alvaro Morata's comeback to Spain.
So now, they have set their eyes on the 30-year-old Brazilian forward. Firmino's tenure with Liverpool is set to expire next year, and renewal does not seem very likely.
Juventus placed a €23million offer to Liverpool, which has prompted the Reds to consider.
The board has been doubtful about accepting the offer, so a higher second bid might be on the cards.
Firmino only made 10 Premier League appearances last season for Liverpool and missed the remaining due to muscle injuries.
After Sadio Mane's departure, Liverpool could use the chance to bolster their squad.
The deal involves £19.5million, which could be beneficial after the serious splurge on Diaz and Nunez, but Klopp might not be on board.
The Liverpool manager will expect Firmino in the upcoming campaign as a crucial member of the club's attack and a player who can shape posterity.
After the game against RB Leipzig, it is speculated that the ten outfield payers who opened in Germany could be the final lineup for the Premier League opener at Fulham, with Firmino in the center, joining the attack in between Diaz and Salah.
PSG willing to sign Nordi Mukiele
Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig have initiated talks on the signing of Nordi Mukiele. They have reportedly reached a verbal agreement to precede the remaining formalities, including a medical assessment of the player.
Once the French international pass the medicals, he will officially be introduced as the third signing of the summer by PSG.
The Ligue 1 legends have already signed Vitinha and Hugo Ekitike but are also interested in adding Mukiele to the team. The fee in the contract is estimated to be £13 million, and if PSG wants to keep a back four, then Nordi Mukiele will provide an alternative to Achraf Hakimi on the right side.
Mukiele, who joined Leipzig from Montpellier in 2018, scored one goal and grabbed three assists across 28 appearances this past season in the Bundesliga.
Once Mukiele arrives, PSG will focus on Renato Sanches from Lille. Landing a defender might close their bid to sign Milan Skriniar from Inter.
Mukiele can also play in a three-person defense, which new coach Christophe Galtier prefers.
Mukiele secured his only France cap as a substitute in a World Cup qualifier back in September 2021.
