These unforgettable instances are characterised mainly by the heroics of the best strikers the league has ever seen. Here's a look at the top five ISL strikers with top-notch contributions!
5. Marcelinho
Marcelo Lite Pereira, or 'Marcelinho', has competed for six ISL clubs, and the Brazilian is seen as one of the best strikers in the ISL.
His record contains 34 goals in 87 games in the league's history. In the 2016 edition, he was the rightful recipient of the Golden Boot with Delhi Dynamos FC.
After that, he enjoyed stints at Pune City FC, Odisha FC, Hyderabad FC, ATK Mohun Bagan (ATKMB), and NorthEast United FC. He took ATKMB to the finals in the 2020/21 season.

Roy rose to more popularity after winning the title with ATK in the 2019/20 season. The Fijian international is credited with 36 goals in 60 games.
He will continue in the ISL for the 2021/22 season as a part of the star-studded Bengaluru FC. His agility, strength and clean finishing abilities grant him authority on the court.
The A-League golden boot winner played for ATK and then ATK Mohun Bagan. He was at the helm of Antonio Habas' 3-5-2 counter-attacking setup and was highly destructive for other clubs.
In the 2020/21 season, he was the first player to net a goal at ISL's first Kolkata derby. He won the Golden Ball in 2021, a testament to his greatness.
3. Sunil Chhetri
