Wolves, who are last on the standings, will want to mount a solid end to the year under new manager Julen Lopetegui.
They are currently four points from safety, and Southampton and Nottingham Forest are the two teams above them in the relegation zone.
Boxing Day will mark the formal return of Premier League action when Brentford take on Tottenham at 12.30 GMT.
