Football News: Indian Super League: Goa win the first home match after beating Jamshedpur 3-0
Goa celebrated their first home victory in the ninth season of the Indian Super League (ISL) after besting the inaugural champions Jamshedpur 3-0 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao on Thursda
The Goa converted twice within the first 15 minutes thanks to Iker Guarrotxena and Noah Wail Sadaoui's well-timed hits. Brison Fernandes made the last strike in the 93rd minute.
There were two changes observed in the starting lineup of both teams. Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem filled in as the goalkeeper for Arshdeep Singh, and Mohamed Fares Arnaout took Marc Hernandez's position in defence.
The visitors introduced a switch in defence, with Eli Sabia replacing Pratik Chaudhari. Harry Sawyer was sidelined, and Jitendra Singh took over the midfield as the Jamshedpur boys adopted a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Before the end of the first half, midfielder Wellington Priori tackled the opposition and aimed for the goal, only to be blocked by Dheeraj Singh Moirangthem.
Meanwhile, Goa thrashed the Jamshedpur defence, and in the first-half stoppage time, Sadoui delivered a cross from the left flank, and Tiang's subsequent header flew over the bar, thanks to Rehenesh.
In the following half of the match, Jamshedpur FC head coach Aidy Boothroyd switched to a 4-4-2 formation. He called Sabia and Jitendra off the field and deployed Sawyer and Pratik instead.
Goa scored their third goal in second-half stoppage time. Saviour Gama sent a low ball towards Brison, who scored five minutes after he came in.

Jamshedpur FC has slid from sixth to eighth in the rankings and only secured four points from four games. Their subsequent encounter is against Hyderabad FC at home on November 9.
