Football News: Defending champions Hyderabad FC play their first home match in Pune
Defending champions Hyderabad FC will play their opening Indian Super League (ISL) 2022-23 match in Pune instead of their home stadium, the GMC Balayogi Athletic Stadium Gachibowli, Hyderabad
The switch was necessary due to ongoing renovations at the stadium, which would have, under normal circumstances, hosted Mumbai City FC, the finalists of the 2022 Durand Cup, in Hyderabad's first match of the season.
The new venue is the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune, where the match will be held on October 9, 2022.
When will Hyderabad be back at the Gachiboli stadium?
Hyderabad FC will return for their second ISL match at the Gachibowli Stadium, where Durand Cup 2022 winners Bengaluru FC will compete against the hosts.
The match is scheduled for October 22, 2022, week three.
