According to reports by Spanish publication Marca, Cristiano Ronaldo has received a two-year contract from the club as they prepare to sign the 37-year-old on a free transfer after his unfortunate but inevitable departure from Old Trafford

Ronaldo is also on MLS's radar, but the Portuguese striker wants to sign for the highest wage possible if he draws the curtain on his memorable career in Europe.

Al-Nassr is ready to pay €400 million if Portugal forward agrees to a deal that bounds him to the Saudi Arabian club until 2025. Ronaldo's second spell at Old Trafford ended on a bitter note as United declared the end of his contract by mutual consent.

United decided after witnessing the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's explosive interview with Piers Morgan, where he made controversial claims about the club.

He accused the club of betraying him and revealed that he did not respect the current head coach Erik ten Hag. If Ronaldo joins Al-Nassr, he will move shortly after his World Cup campaign ends.

At All-Bassr, he would play alongside former Premier League star David Ospina, who played for Arsenal between 2014 and 2019. Ronaldo is competing for Portugal at the 2022 World Cup and will look forward to making it far in the tournament.

Fernando Santos' side will conclude their group stage campaign against South Korea on Friday

Chelsea are following Vasco da Gama wonderkid Andrey Santos

Chelsea might initiate transfer talks for Santos with a particular clause. As confirmed by reports, the Blues are interested in signing the Vasco midfielder and are expected to make an offer during the January window.

Chelsea want the services of the 18-year-old, who has been compared with Sergio Busquets for his compelling style. His abilities exceed his age limits enabling Vasco to sell him for a club-record fee.

The highest mark so far is € 18.5 million paid by Bayer Leverkusen for Paulinho in 2018. There is a clause in Santos' contract that states that any English team can offer less than his € 40 million release clause to initiate a deal, although the exact numbers are unknown.

It will work in favour of Chelsea as they attempt to negotiate a lower price. Santos renewed his deal with Vasco, and the new contract expires in September 2027.

In 2022, the defensive midfielder has played 42 matches for Vasco and more than 56 hours on the field. Santos will continue to play for Vasco da Gama until a new update comes out.

However, he is keen on a transfer to Europe.
