Football News: Arsenal offer for Youri Tielemans
Fans think it is bizarre that no club has yet bought Youri Tielemans from Leicester. He has a year left in his contract at the King Power and wants to switch clubs.
The Foxes can use whatever they earn from his sale to support themselves, but his future remains uncertain. However, the Gunners have been talking to the midfielder all summer, and they're soon expected to make a bid.
Arsenal is planning to offload some fringe players to make room for Youri Tielemans. They can easily give away a few players of their own to Leicester as a makeweight in a deal to land Tielemans.
Brendan Rodgers now wants a new goalkeeper who could replace Kasper Schmeichel, and Bernd Leno is one of their targets. Fulham was targetting him, but their interest seems to have fizzled, which allows Arsenal to send him to Leicester.
They require the potential financial gain, and Arsenal is looking to make an offer of around £25million for Tielemans. Pulling the plug on Lucas Torreira would also help Arsenal achieve their target, and Valencia is reportedly interested in the Uruguay midfielder.
However, Los Che wants to have Torreira for free, while the Gunners expect a transfer fee.
Juventus wants to bring in Firmino
Roberto Firmino might step out of Anfield this summer, and Brazil forward is expected to make a move to Italy. Firmino's game time is expected to reduce even more this season due to Darwin Nunez's arrival.
Juventus is open to assigning him a more significant role as discussions between the Old Lady and Liverpool take a full swing. Juventus have reportedly offered £19million in a bid for Firmino.
West Ham and Everton might try to purchase PSG fringe players
Premier League clubs seem to be on the watch for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) as the Parisians look forward to offloading their fringe players before the start of the new Ligue One season.
Now that they have defeated the French giants to Gianluca Scamacca, West Ham expects to snatch a centre-back from PSG. According to reports, David Moyes needs Abdou Diallo to cover for Nayef Aguerd, and the Hammers are ready to accommodate PSG's valuation of £17million.
PSG also want to let go of Idrissa Gueye, and Everton has shown interest in re-signing the midfielder, although discussions have not started.
