Football News: 8 Potential transfers before the Premier League transfer window closes

To strengthen their midfield, Brighton hopes to sign Gilmour, Chelsea's midfielder. 

Gilmour was loaned by Norwich the last term and had a tough season. This season, he hasn't made an appearance for Chelsea so far, so a transfer to Brighton may be the right step. 

Brighton will have to permanently buy him because each club is only allowed to loan one player in a season, and Brighton has already loaned Levi Colwill in this transfer window. 

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Rumour has it that Chelsea is eyeing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang because they need a good striker. 

Though the deal with Barcelona is not final yet, it is believed by experts that this is one transfer that might be seen before the summer transfer window closes. 

Chelsea has given Lukaku on loan to Inter, and they have also sold Timo Werner back to Leipzig; and therefore, this deal may be sealed soon. 

Wilfried Zaha

Zaha has proved to be one of the most incredible players with Crystal Palace. 

Given his talent and remarkable performance, Chelsea and Arsenal are eyeing the youngster. 

Though Crystal Palace has declared that Zaha is not leaving the club anytime soon, experts believe that Chelsea might make an offer that Palace may not be able to refuse.

Samuel Chukwueze

The 23-year-old talented winger, Samuel Chukwueze, is being targeted by Everton for the ongoing season. 

He has been playing incredibly and has a contract with Villarreal till 2024; however, given his talent, Everton has offered £43m for a loan deal. 

Neymar

Paris Saint Germain's forward, Neymar, has started the season with a bang. While PSG will certainly be benefitting from the player, Chelsea, at the same time, is also eyeing the forward. 

It is unlikely that PSG will release their forward; however, it is possible that they may not be able to refuse a lucrative deal. 

Despite all the hurdles and uncertainties related to this transfer, this is one transfer that may be seen before the window closes. 

Daniel James

Tottenham is reportedly interested in signing Daniel James, who plays for Leeds. 

With Bryan Gil moving to Valencia, Tottenham hopes to bring in a good winger, for which they are targeting Daniel James. 

If everything goes according to Tottenham's plan, James' transfer may also be complete before closing the window. 

Idrissa Gana Gueye

Idrissa has moved back to Everton on a two-year contract with an option to extend it to three. 

Playing for PSG since 2019, this 32-year-old player has finally returned to Everton, where he played from 2016-2019. 

 "There is no better feeling than coming back home. I am very happy to be here at Everton again," he said on returning to Everton. 

Ben Brereton Diaz

Currently in contract with Ewood Park, Ben is receiving many offers from England and abroad. 

While Everton and Fulham are interested in signing him, Celta Vigo and Nice are also eyeing him. 

It remains to be seen if Diaz will stay in England and take the opportunity of playing in the Premier League or will move abroad.
