The Poles looked much more effective in all areas of the game than they did in their previous match against Mexico, where the game ended in a goalless draw.
Robert Lewandowski, who missed a penalty during Tuesday's game, set up Piotr Zielinski's first-half opener. After pouncing on a Saudi error, he scored his first-ever goal at a World Cup tournament.

After their lacklustre performance and disappointing loss to Saudi Arabia, Argentina needed to redeem itself and return with a vengeance.
However, their game against Mexico this past Saturday showed they still have much work to do. It took a moment of brilliance from superstar Lionel Messi to finally score in the 64th minute, with Enzo Fernandez adding another goal near the end to seal a 2-0 victory.
Even though they won, Argentina needs to step up their game if they want to have any chance of winning the tournament.
Argentina could still top their group with a win, but they come against a very organized Polish team that only needs a point to progress.
