FIFA president Gianni Infantino has investigation into use of a private jet closed
An investigation into FIFA president Gianni Infantino's use of a private jet has been closed, football's world governing body has announced.

FIFA said the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland (OAG) had confirmed all travel arrangements in relation to the flight between Switzerland and Suriname in 2017 complied with FIFA rules.

The OAG's findings were in line with an earlier decision taken in the case by FIFA's own ethics committee.
FIFA said Infantino had waived his right to claim for damages in the case, and that the Swiss state would bear the cost of the investigation.
A statement from FIFA concluded: "Since the start of proceedings, the FIFA president has been fully at the disposal of the Swiss authorities and remains hopeful that the judicial system recognises that the current FIFA administration has turned the page on the past and is now established as a credible and respected organisation."
